A Few Firsts

Yesterday, Maria was diagnosed with her first ear infection..a double one!  No wonder her behavior has been bordering on terrorist-like!  Glad to have an explanation for it.  On happy note though, it was also her first day in underwear with NO accidents!!

Yesterday also held a first for Lydia.  She was playing on the trampoline with Tim, Annie and Maria and in a very graceful way found herself tumbling out of the zipper door in the cage that was left open.  Her forehead met up with the rim of the bucket stool and earned 5 stitches right smack in the middle!

She cried terribly at first, but when the stitches were being put in she didn't even flinch!  She giggled!  I think it was a defense mechanism so she wouldn't lose it, but it worked :)  The dr. kept commenting on how happy she was.  She was a great patient and I was very proud of her!

Now to decide if we should have her hair cut in bangs for her Kindergarten pictures next week, or just leave it for the memories.  What would you do?
