Project 52 #5: Surprise Thank You's

A couple of days late this week, but today we delivered surprise thank you notes and treats to 3 deserving people.  The janitor at Edgar Road, Mr. Bobby and the janitor at Emmanual Preschool, Mr. James. The crossing guard at Edgar Road, Mr. Manuel who will get his tomorrow since he wasn't there today.  As Lydia said, "he must not be feeling well today", because he is always there!

The treat bags with yummy rice krispie treats inside

Smiley faces drawn by Ahren and Lydia (and me) and dots added to the letters by Lydia.  We attached the note to the treat bag.

Bailey, Ahren, Parker, Lydia and Annie going into Edgar Road to find Mr. Bobby

I loved seeing how excited the kids were to give their gifts and how surprised Mr. Bobby was.  Smiles all around!  Go HERE to see Jodie's write up and HERE to see the originator of the idea.

Maybe you could bring some unexpected smiles to someone today!  Give it a try!
