Meeting Hall of Famers

Last Friday, Tim and I had the opportunity to go to the Cards game in the Hall of Fame Suite.  Brother Ben's company had rented the suite and the Hall of Famers, and Ben invited us to attend!  Great food, great view, great company, bad game.  But, we didn't care - we met Hall of Famer: Bob Gibson, Red Schoendist, and Lou Brock!!

This is Bob.  We're on a first name basis now that we've had our picture together and everything.

This is Red.  He's 88 and still does batting practice with 'the kids' every night at the ballpark.

This is Lou.  He stole a lot of bases.

It was a great night.  We each received a baseball with their signatures and promptly put them away from the children because Ahren was ready to go outside and play baseball with it.

Thanks Ben for the opportunity!  It was one in a lifetime!
