Trying not to laugh

This morning Annie gathered some acorns and proceeded to plant them in the mulch in the flower bed.  Then, she drug the hose over and watered them.  THEN, she sat down on the front steps and told me that she was going to wait and watch them grow!  I tried not to laugh, but my whole face was smiling.  So sweet and innocent and determined!
