Ahren turns 6

My firstborn is six years old as of yesterday.  Hard to believe!  At six he is as much fun as he was the day he was born.  Interested in reading, matchbox cars, legos, football and basically any sport his dad likes.

He took brownies to school for his class to share.  They were in the shape of footballs and helmets bearing the number '6' (although my amateur efforts made them look like a 'G'.)  He didn't care though.

He chose where we went for dinner.  Each day of the week he changed his mind.  One day it was Pizza Hut, the next it was Subway, the next it was Pizza Street.  He finally settled on O'Charley's.  He loves their popcorn shrimp.  Because it was his bday, they gave him a piece of caramel pie with 7 spoons so he could share with the rest of us!

This is what it looked like after all 7 of us were finished.  Tim is out of town for the weekend at a wrestling tournament, so Gra and Little Great Gra went with us.

After dinner we went home and had a pajama party and watched the Veggie Tales called "Lyle the Kindly Viking" and Gra spent the night with us.
Next week is Ahren's party since Tim was out of town this weekend.  I'm sure I'll have more photos to share then.

Happy Birthday my sweet boy!!
