A story related to me from Tim while tucking Lydia in bed last night:
Tim: "Lydia, I'm going to love you forever."
Lydia: "Dad, you'll love me even when you're an old man."
T: "Yes, Lydia, even when I'm old"
L: "And sometimes old men pee in their pants!"
Ahren while eating dinner said, out of the blue: "mom, pa has been alive for a lot of years, hasn't he?"
What is it with my kids and old age??
Annie interjecting her thoughts while the older two were talking about Uncle Ben and Aunt Janelle vacationing in Pittsburgh at the Steelers Game. "Lydia, Uncle Ben has NO hair". She said this over and over and over, very loudly.
Maria's words for this week: Paw paw, Maw maw, ball, up. Her vocab is exploding considering last month at this time she wasn't even saying mama or dada.
