10 Years

Today is my 10th anniversary of being married to my best friend.  How time flies!  Here's a recap of our last 10 years together:

2000
8/26 - get married on a muggy hot, hot day!
move into Tim's house in Dogtown and try to make it less of a bachelor's pad
experience life being married to a hunter and a wrestling coach

2001
move into a mansion in the CWE to house-sit for 3 years
vacation in Niagara Falls

2002
continue working like crazy to keep our end of the bargain for the house-sitting gig
vacation in Pagosa Springs, CO
try to start building our family

2003
buy our current house in WG
find someone to live in our WG house (thanks brother Ben) for a year until we move out of the mansion
vacation in Williamsburg, VA
Tim vacations in Alaska on a moose hunt
continue to try and start a family

2004
vacation in Paris, France!
finally get pregnant in April
move into our WG home in August

2005
welcome Ahren Jacob into our family on Jan. 7
         -the newborn pictures of Ahren got wiped out on my last computer :(
vacation in Buena Vista, CO


2006
Tim has his second neck surgery on March 3
welcome Lydia Jean into our family on March 24

vacation in TN

2007
put our WG house on the market and get a contract for our asking price

welcome Ann Denny into our family on Oct. 12

contract on house falls through and we decide to try again in the spring

2008
house goes on the market with no contracts
no babies this year!
had a great summer with Tim not working and playing almost every day with the kids!
take the house off the market and decide to add on next year

2009
welcome Maria Joy into our family on July 17

begin construction on the 'barn' addition

2010
begin to function as a family of 6
complete the work on the barn
move into our new bedroom!
vacation in AR

The note on my mirror this morning read "10 more years???"  Absolutely!  I'm in and hope for way more than 10!!
