Our Christmas break is probably somewhat similar to most of the world, but in the world of teachers, it is not normal. Most teachers have two weeks off from school for their break. Basically the same as the students. However, when you're a teacher AND a coach in the winter, break looks different. There is practice every day, except Sundays, and sometimes two practices a day. Throw in a two day tournament in the middle and it makes for a busy break. Tim is great at being with the kids when he is home. But one day during break, we decided to go where he was (which we actually try to do often). Westminster has this amazing new $70 million facility and with it comes an olympic size swimming pool. So, after practice was over one day, we went to the pool to meet daddy who swam laps with the kids on his chest. What a hero!
