Not sure why I've been so sentimental lately. Maybe it's because my baby is turning 2 on Sunday and my oldest is getting ready to start first grade. Maybe it's just a combination of coming to terms that I'm getting older, therefore my children are, and it makes me a little sad.
At any rate, I've been trying to enjoy the little things each day. Sayings the kids come up with, or silly things they do. Enter Annie. She is a fun-loving 3 year old who likes to make up songs and be her own person. Yesterday I caught her dressed like this and playing the drums with two long pencils:
