This is a picture of our sweet Annie yesterday getting ready to compete in Sparks-a-Rama (a separate post is coming for that adventure). Such a fun, happy girl!
Then we came home and she headed out to play on the swings. She came in five minutes later looking like this:Not so happy here. The oak pollen is out in MO and she is one allergic kid! This pic was taken after two rounds of eye drops and a dose of Benadryl. She is such a trooper and wanted to head right back outside and jump on the trampoline. She is an outside kid and h.a.t.e.s. being kept inside! But the pollen is just so bad right now, it's not worth it for her to me SO miserable! She asked to have carrots for dinner because they help your eyes! I didn't tell her the effect wasn't immediate...I just served carrots and smiled at her sweet spirit.
One day when we're in heaven she will be able to play outside as much as she wants. She will be able to enjoy the beauty of spring and STILL be able to see out of her sweet eyes! Heaven, hurry up!
Briana is severely allergic to oak as well. She however is also allergic to carrots! Allergies are the pits!!
ReplyDeleteMy Gracie looks exactly like that today! I gave her benadryl, but it doesn't seem to help. Did you try anything (and did it work)?
