Lydia's birthday fell on a Saturday this year. Perfect! Except the Awana Games were scheduled for 1pm that day. So, we scheduled her family party for Sunday and headed to the Awana games on her birthday.

Sunday after church we had our family party. It was a beautiful day for a 6 year old's party!

But perhaps the best and most memorable part of her birthday weekend was getting her ears pierced!
Six short years ago my baby was struggling for each and every breath. We couldn't be more happy or excited that the Lord spared her and let us keep her with us!
Happy birthday to our sweet Lydia Jean! We can't wait to celebrate many, many more years with you!
